Are the prices monthly?

The price of the plans are paid monthly, The extras are one-time fees.

Payment methods other than PayPal?

Currently unfortunately none. Although we're working on alternatives.

Is it possible to buy only for a month?

When you purchase a plan we charge the first months payment directly and create a recurring payment schedule for the upcoming months. Technically you could cancel your subscription over at PayPal and de-facto pay for only one month.

What do you mean by storage?

Your storage space is like the disk space on your computer. You can fill it up or delete files to free up space. It's your private disk on the cloud. And remains the same over months.

What do you mean by bandwidth?

Your bandwidth quota resets monthly. You use your Bandwidth quota when you download or stream files from put.io to your own computer. You will retain any unused bandwidth upto 500G's.

What happens when you run out of bandwidth?

If you use all your bandwidth, you will not be able to stream or download any files onto your computer. But you can add more bandwidth from the Upgrade page or you can wait for the next billing cycle, which will reset your bandwidth quota.

If you don't use all your bandwidth it will accumulate on your account (upto 500G's). You can use it in the following months.

Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?

Yes you can.

Can I take a leave for a few months and then come back?

If you stop paying, or cancel your subscription you will lose your files and accumulated bandwidth after a Limbo period of 7 days. But your account credentials, settings, friends and subscriptions will remain in tact. You can come back later and claim your account.

What happens if I upgrade or downgrade in the middle of a billing cycle?

If you upgrade or downgrade, the unused portion of your current subscription will be taken into account. If you have enough credit, you will not be billed, If your credit is not enough for your target plan you will be charged the remainder. Your new subscription will start immediately. If you still have credit left even after paying for the target plan, your remaining credit will be converted to extra bandwidth and added to your account.

What is the refund policy?

When you sign up for Put.io, you make the payment for first 30 days. If you decide to cancel your account in this period:

• You will not be charged on the next payment cycle.
• No refund will be issued for the rest of the month.
