Hello, We’re pilli. A 10 year old web company hailing from Istanbul.

We started as a web design shop in 2000 and changed course to become a web company in 2005.

We like to start with tiny fun projects which morph into giant web sites used by hundreds of thousands of users.

This is the third time we’re doing that.

Our first two projects are pillinetwork and Sosyomat. Together they have over 300.000 registered users and show 20 million pages to 5 million unique visitors monthly. (more on pillinetwork and sosyomat)

Pillinetwork is a network of eleven community blogs. It shares 70% of it’s revenue with users who contribute. There are over 300.000 articles in pillinetwork blogs. Sosyomat is a social networking site with an emphasis on tagging people. Many many babies have been born because of it. They both are pretty known in Turkey and are profitable.

The Team

Hasan Yalçınkaya is a veteran web worker of 15 years. Hasan manages the business aspects, co-manages the product development and is also responsible for the user interface coding.

Cem Başpınar is a graphic designer and teaches digital media and interactive design as a guest lecturer at Dokuz Eylul University in Izmir. On Put.io Cem is responsible for product development, design and project management.

Aybars Badur is our head developer. He's planning to open a meatball sandwich shop when he retires.

Cenk Altı is a programmer. His favorite drink is orange juice.

Kutay Kocayurt is yet another developer. Part-time superhero.
